How much money do I need to open an account with Planner Securities?

$500 for a cash account, $2,000 for a margin account

What is a margin account?

How can I fund my account?

To access the cash transfer process, first log into the Apex Connection website apexclearing.com. Under the Apex Online menu select Transactions -> Cash Transfer
If you have and to set one up, click ACH Relationships to initiate the transfer.
To set up a relationship, click on the ACH Relationships link under Transactions.

How do I transfer my account to Planner Securities?

This can be completed by requesting or downloading the ACAT form for the downloads page and returned along with a copy a recent statement from the delivering firm.

How do I create a log in at the Apex Website (e-delivery of correspondence)?

If you have never logged in to the Apex site before, user log-ins and passwords may be obtained by clicking on the orange Login tab on the top right corner, then Create a User ID.

After clicking on Create a User ID, you’ll be asked for your Apex Account number, select 10-Apex Clearing and enter your 8-digit Apex account number in the second box.

For US accounts: Enter your Social Security Number or Tax ID (no dashes)

For non US accounts, enter your address line 1

Enter your e-mail address

You will be asked for a Secret Question and Answer. This is done so that if you forget your User ID and/or password in the future, Apex can verify your identity and e-mail you the information.

You will then be asked to create a User ID and password. The password must contain both upper and lowercase letters, a special character and a number.

How do I sign up for E-Delivery?

Once you are logged into your Apex account (instructions above), from the menu, under Tools -> Update Profile. Select the type of correspondence you would like to receive via E-Delivery and once you accept the conditions, you are all set.

Why you would sign up for E-Delivery?

Aside for saving the planet and clutter, Apex charges $5 for statements and $2 for confirmations sent in the mail.

How do I withdraw funds from my account?

You can request funds by completing and returning either the check request, domestic or international wire request form and return it to us via fax 646-381-7010; Scan mailto:banking@plannersecurities.comor mailing it to us.

How do I change my contact details?

Please send a signed request via fax 646-381-7010 or scan and email to mailto:cs@plannersecurities.com.
